Information you provide

We receive information you submit through contact and order forms, including your name, email, phone number, organization, buyer type, research-purpose statement, shipping address, product selections, order reference, and message content.

Research-use certifications

Research-order records include the certifications you make at checkout, such as authorization to purchase, research-only intent, non-human-use confirmation, and acceptance of site terms. These records may be retained for order, fraud-prevention, payment, legal, and compliance purposes.

Stripe payment data

When Stripe Checkout is enabled, payment-card details are entered directly with Stripe on Stripe's hosted checkout page. Pep In Your Step Lab does not intentionally collect or store full payment-card numbers or card security codes in its local website data files. Stripe may process payment, billing, fraud-prevention, and transaction information under its own privacy terms.

How information is used

Information is used to evaluate research-buyer eligibility, answer inquiries, review products and quality records, create and manage orders, process and reconcile payments, coordinate shipping and refunds, prevent misuse, maintain audit records, and comply with legal or payment-processor obligations.

Shopping cart and browser storage

The website uses browser storage to keep cart selections and the research-use entry acknowledgement available while you browse. Cart data stays in the browser until an order is submitted, cleared, or browser storage is removed.

Sharing with service providers

Information may be shared with service providers when needed for hosting, email, payment processing, fraud prevention, shipping, accounting, technical support, or lawful compliance. We do not sell customer information as a standalone product.

Security

The site uses authenticated admin sessions, protected private data directories, request validation, signed Stripe webhook verification, and file-type restrictions to reduce unauthorized access. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Never send full card numbers, passwords, or sensitive medical records through the contact form.

Retention

Inquiry, order, research-certification, payment-reference, and fulfillment records may be retained for customer service, accounting, fraud prevention, legal, tax, payment-dispute, or compliance needs. Records may be deleted or anonymized when they are no longer reasonably required, subject to applicable obligations.

Your choices

You may contact Pep In Your Step Lab to ask a privacy question or request correction of information you submitted, subject to identity verification and applicable recordkeeping requirements.

Children

This website and its research-order features are not directed to children. Research checkout requires the buyer to certify that they are at least 18 years old and authorized to make the purchase.
